Through Bumper Trailer Receiver

There are different types of trailer hitches put on our coaches. For me this centre line Through Bumper Hitch is an effective and adaptable solution. Being a 2 Inch Receiver, many types of hitch adapters, also known as a “stinger”, are available and I use different ones for my boat, car, utility trailer, and bike carrier. Some bike carriers are designed for a 1.5 or 2 inch receiver and some are designed for a simple under bumper ball platform hitch as well. In fact my bike carrier is actually designed for a ball platform, and I put it on a 2 inch “stinger” In this photo, the safety chain eyes are actually back at the frame, and further under the bumper than I like to reach. Most standard trailer safety chains are also too short, so the extension chain is to improve the convenience for me. Something I'll have to fabricate differntly later.
