Racking Material Aluminum
My metal rack had a BEAUTIFUL piece of 2 X 2 X 1/4 Aluminum Angle that I used. The holes in one leg were perfect for this project. It had been used in telecommunication installation facilities. I could, if I wanted, Polish and Fine finish it too. I would cut it a bit longer than the diameter of the tire to give the widest stance yet not interfere with the ladder. Of course you can use other material just as well.
