HEI_Wire_01

One of the POs had changed the Ignition from a points type to High Energy Electronic Ignition. (HEI) (Should have been a good thing, Right? But:)
The single yellow wire was what fed the HEI Module. The two wires are the old Point Type connections that would have gone to the positive terminal of the conventional coil. WRONG!!! That will only supply the Ignition Module with 1/2 voltage. Compare that to the Pink wire that is used on a Factory HEI. (see next graphic that is a simplified Points Ignition wire diagram from 73-74 service manual for further explaination.)
